We are a Nebraska family-owned business with three generations of farming and ranching experience. Swanson Cattle specializes in raising Balancer and Angus cattle for Nearly 40 years and having a yearly sale right in our back yard, selling over 100 head of bulls.
After perfecting our Balancer and Angus Herd, we want to go on to the next step! We aim to offer the finished product straight from our farm. Having tried Waygu Beef, we knew we needed to research something about these cattle. The tenderness and flavour of this beef melts in your mouth.
Established in 1983, Swanson Cattle is dedicated to providing the best quality beef and customer service. With our knowledge of the cattle industry we are determined to bring the best beef possible to the market, using the American Waygu, Angus, & Balancer breeds. Offering fresh meat directly to customers.
Our cattle are grass feed and grain finished. The cattle are raised on open range, with plenty of room to roam and graze. NO ANTIBIOTICS and NO HORMONES. This allows the animals to grow at their own pace. Thus, resulting in healthier and more flavourful meat.

In the beef industry, "marbling" is the presence of intramuscular fat. This is how beef is graded all over the world. Well-marbled steaks have a much richer flavor profile than steaks without it. In addition, Wagyu marbling also has a very low melting temperature which is what creates the buttery, melt-in-your-mouth texture and flavor.
